Digital Coast Modernization

A national environmental agency needed to modernize its decade-old coastal data platforms, a suite of tools used by planners, researchers, local governments, and environmental professionals. The systems were vast, fragmented, and inconsistent, with uneven UX patterns and growing technical debt.

My role was to bring organization, clarity, and strategic direction to a multi-year modernization effort, ensuring hundreds of pages, tools, datasets, and workflows became usable, accessible, and reliable.

As Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager with NOAA/Lynker, I helped direct multi-year modernization across public interfaces and internal workflows. The work connected information architecture, accessibility, data clarity, and technical planning with the needs of scientists, outreach teams, and engineers.
